Of course there is always plenty of work at the kennels: the dogs need feeding and walking and the kennels cleaned. Additional kennel maintenance includes grass cutting and trimming.

We have adoption stands the first Saturday of the month at Southern States on Alverser Drive and the third Saturday at Petco, Westchester Commons. We are also invited to special events. Please refer to the calendar on the home page.

Volunteers are needed to help walk, take care of the dogs and the set up and take down of the tables.

We are always in need of fosters, which can be short or long term:

​

• Medical - after surgery or due to illness, a dog needs a nice quiet place to be, which might be for a just a couple of days.

• Weather - during extreme weather, cold or hot, we like to get to find a comfortable place for our dogs to stay.

• Long term - a traditional foster until adoption or a 'fospice'
